Gail is a certified Labor Doula and Postpartum Doula who completed her training through both DONA International and Prodoula. She operates Rooted Doula, an independent doula practice in Southeast Michigan. She encourages moms to attune to the birth journey that is right for them and helps them get in touch with the natural power within themselves. She is also passionate about incorporating faith and spirituality into her doula support, if a client desires to have support in that capacity. Her passion for being a doula stems from her background in holistic health and wellness, her desire to connect with and support families in her community, and her passion for educating moms about their options in the birth space. Gail also holds a health coach certification through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.

Outside of doula-ing, Gail is a fur mom to her cat, Harley and a Godmother to her sweet niece, Emma. You can find her singing, listening to podcasts, engaging in her church community, or getting coffee with friends or family. She loves yoga, running, and hiking with her fiance, Nik. She is also a proud alum of the University of Michigan... Go Blue!
