Director of Family Wellness & Operations

Ciara is a compassionate and experienced child development professional with over a decade of work supporting children and families. Her approach centers on nurturing the whole child—supporting cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development in a way that honors each child’s unique strengths. Ciara is committed to equipping parents with practical tools and insight to confidently support their child’s growth and well-being.

As a new parent, the early years can be both joyful and overwhelming, filled with questions about what’s typical and how to best support your child’s development. Whether you're navigating tantrums, wondering how to encourage social skills, or simply trying to make the most of everyday play, Ciara brings practical, research-based guidance that helps make sense of it all. Her background in early childhood education includes three years as an Infant Teacher at the University of Michigan, where she supported families in building routines, encouraging healthy behaviors, and fostering strong emotional foundations through play-based learning.

Feeding challenges are another area where many families find themselves needing extra support—especially when medical concerns or developmental delays are involved. Ciara worked closely with families in the Interdisciplinary Pediatric Feeding Program at the University of Michigan’s Mott Children’s Hospital, helping parents understand and respond to feeding difficulties with confidence. Her work focused on creating safe, positive feeding experiences that support long-term growth, reduce stress, and prevent more serious issues from developing down the road. Ciara offers bottle-feeding coaching to support families in developing successful feeding routines.

In her free time, Ciara loves being outdoors, staying active, and exploring new places. She finds joy in living a simple, mindful lifestyle and savoring delicious, healthy food!
