Leina Filipczak

Perinatal and Infant/Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist

Leina offers individual, couples, and parent-child (dyadic) therapy with a focus on perinatal mental health, infant and early childhood development, and the many transitions that come with parenting. Her work is rooted in relationships—supporting clients through identity shifts in early parenthood, helping caregivers and young children feel more connected, and holding space for those exploring their own early experiences. Leina brings warmth, curiosity, and steadiness to the therapy space, and works across the lifespan, from early parenting through personal healing.

Her areas of specialty include perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (with a focus on OCD), neurodivergent parenting, complex trauma, and substance use recovery. Leina’s approach is grounded in psychodynamic and attachment-based frameworks, with an emphasis on somatic awareness, IFS-informed parts work, and nervous system regulation. She meets clients where they are and moves at a pace that feels safe and attuned, always holding the belief that healing happens in connection.

Payment info: Leina accepts BCBS & BCN, sliding scale cash pay
